| Tournament Information |
| Appropriate attire (slacks & collared shirt, turtle, mock turtle neck) must be worn during tournament play and Pro-Am's. Shorts may be worn during practice rounds. Weather will determine if shorts may be worn during tournament play. |
| 54 holes of stroke play competition. There is not a cut. |
| Players are required to be available for the Pro-Am. Pro-Am participants will be on a volunteer basis or be determined by the SSGT. |
| The use of a range finder or other GPS device will be permitted during tournament play. In the event the host club's carts are equipped with GPS they will be activated for use during play. |
| Cell phones must be turned completely off during tournament play. I Pods or other types of listening devices are not allowed during tournament play. Breach of this SSGT rule will result in disqualification. |

| The prize fund will payout the top 60% of the field. Players that are in the lower 40% after day two will have the opportunity to play for day money. Day money will pay the three lowest scores of the final round, $300.00, $200.00, and $100.00. There will also be a skins game for the lower 40%. |

| Ball : |
| Every player competing in a SSGT event must use a golf ball that has been approved for play by the USGA. The brand of ball used must be on the USGA's conforming list. Rules of Golf - Rule 5-1. Specified in Appendix III Players are required to mark their ball for tournament play. | Clubs : |
| It is the players responsibility to play with clubs that conform to the new rule change set forth by the USGA "New Grooves Rule". Clubs will be randomly checked throughout the 2010 season. Players found to be using a club that do not conform will be deemed in breach of the rule. |
| Carts Caddies : |
| The use of a golf cart is mandatory for tournament play. Cart use is included in the tournament entry fee. The use of a caddie is permitted during tournament play. |
| Practice Rounds : |
| It is the responsibility of the player to schedule practice rounds. It shall be the intent of the player, not to interfere with normal member play. Practice round fees will vary in cost. SSGT members are not permitted to present their PGA card, GCSSA card for courtesy rounds. |
| Base Security : |
| Participants and their families, caddies, will be required to present their drivers license, proof of insurance, and registration at the gate of the installation. Failure to have all three will result in refused entry. Since each installation is different, the tour will notify players about the correct process for each installation. All vehicles will be subject to search prior to entering the installation. |
| Players registering for a tournament must do so 7-10 in advance of the event in order for the military to comply with their regulations relating to security. The SSGT will always contact players about any issues concerning gate entry. Failure to comply with this rule may result in being turned away. |
| Ball Markers |
| It has become a point of contention about the size of ball makers being used during competition. A ball maker can become distracting to fellow competitors if it is to large. To keep everything to all competitors, the use of a ball marker larger than a half dollar size will not be allowed. |
